intellectualpropertyrights,includingbutnotlimitedtocopyrights,patents,know-
how,trademarks,tradenames,good-will,industrialdesigns,layoutdesignsof
integratedcircuits,geographicalindicationsandprotectionofundisclosed
e)anyrightsconferredbylaworunderpubliccontractoranylicenses,permitsor
concessionsissuedbyaContractingPartyaccordingtoitslaw.
Anyalterationsoftheforminwhichassetsareinvestedorreinvestedshallnotaffecttheir
classificationasinvestment,providedthatsuchalterationisnotinconflictwiththelaws
andregulationsoftheContractingPartyintheterritoryofwhichtheinvestmentismade.
(2)Theterm“returns”meanstheamountsyieldedbyaninvestmentinparticular
including,butnotlimitedtoprofit,dividends,royalties,capitalgainsandanysimilar
payments.
(3)Theterm“investor”means:
a)InrespectoftheKingdomofSaudiArabia;
i.naturalpersonspossessingthenationalityoftheKingdomofSaudiArabiain
accordancewiththelawoftheKingdomofSaudiArabia;
anyentityhavingorhavingnolegalpersonalityandconstitutedinaccordance
withthelawsoftheKingdomofSaudiArabiaandhavingitsheadofficeinits
territorysuchascorporations,enterprises,cooperatives,companies,
partnerships,offices,establishments,funds,organizations,business
associationsandothersimilarentitiesirrespectiveofwhetherornottheyareof
