TheGOVERNMENTOFMALAYSIAasrepresentedbytheMinistryof
InternationalTradeandIndustrytheGOVERNMENTOFTHE
KINGDOMOFSAUDIARABIAasrepresentedbytheMinistryof
CommerceandInvestment(hereinafterreferredtosingularlyasa
“Party”andcollectivelyasthe‘Parties”),desiringtostrengthenthe
bondsoffriendshipbetweenthetwocountriesanddevelopingtrade
andinvestmentcooperationinaccordancewiththelawsandrulesin
forceineachcountries,haveagreedonthefollowing:

OBJECTIVES
ThisMemorandumofUnderstandingaimsatpromotingtradeand
investmentcooperationbetweenthePartiesonthebasisofequality
andmutualbenefitandsubjecttolawsandregulationsinforceinboth
countries.|

|AREASOFCOOPERATION
Thetwopartiesshallencouragetradeandinvestmentcooperation,
particularlyinthefollowingareas:
(a)Healthcare:
(b)Construction,
(¢c)Education,
(d)SmallandMediumEnterprises(SMEs),
(e)HalalIndustry,
(f)Anyotherareasofcooperationtobemutuallyagreedupon
bytheParties.

|FORMSOFCOOPERATION
CooperationunderthisMemorandumofUnderstandingwillbeas
follows:
(a)Exchangeofinformationandexperience;
)Exchangeofvisitsbetweenexpertsandprofessionals,
(c)Conveningconferences,seminars,meetingsandsessions,
)Anyotherformasmaybemutuallyagreeduponbythe
Parties.
ARTICLEIV
PARTICIPATIONOFTHIRDPARTY
1.ThetwoPartiesagreedtoencouragebusinessmeninboth
countriestocollaborateinthefieldoftradeandinvestment
projects.
2.ThetwoPartiesagreedtoencourageauthoritiesandcompanies
Inbothcountriestoparticipateintheinternationalandspecialized
exhibitionsandfairsaimedatdevelopingtradeandinvestment
exchangeeitherbetweenthemarketsofthetwocountriesor
marketsofothercountries.

MemorandumofUnderstanding,includingconsultingeach
othertounderstandthecommonvisionsonperiodic
meetingsheldbyinternationalorganizationandrelativeto
thescopeofthisMemorandumofUnderstanding.
Theworkingcommitteewillholditsmeetingswhen
necessary,alternatelyinthetwocountries.
