Rules for the Evaluation of Judges During the Probationary Period

Article 1

Judges are evaluated twice a year during the probation period, with each evaluation lasting no less than four months.

Article 2

Judges during the probation period shall submit to the President of the Court their performance data periodically every four months from the beginning of the year, within a maximum period of ten days from the end of each four-month period, in accordance with Form No. (1).

Article 3

Previous Amendments

The judges shall form a committee consisting of the President of the Court, the Head of the Circuit in which the judge is working during the probation period, and a judicial inspector appointed by the Head of the General Administration for Judicial Inspection. In the event that the President of the Court is also the Head of the Circuit in which the judge is working, another member of the Circuit shall replace him, and the committee shall be chaired by its most senior member. If the committee is not fully constituted, the President of the Council shall appoint someone to complete its quorum in accordance with the aforementioned provisions.

Article 4

Previous Amendments

The Committee evaluates the Judge's performance during the probation period according to Form No. 2, and submits its report to the General Administration for Judicial Inspection. The remaining duration of the probation period at the time of submission shall not be less than two months.

Article 5

When evaluating the judge, consideration is given to their level of achievement in the courses and programs they attend during the probationary period.

Article 6

This Regulation applies to the remaining evaluation periods of the trial period for judges appointed before its issuance. In the event that the remaining duration of the trial period is less than the evaluation period, the Committee shall prepare its report on the judge immediately, provided that in both cases, the report includes a statement of the works submitted by the judge regarding all of his previous works.
