Council of Ministers Decision No. (79) for the year 1448

  • The Council of Ministers
    After reviewing in its session chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the correspondence received from the Royal Court No. 92515 dated 19/11/1447 AH, including the telegram of His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development No. 55327 dated 24/4/1447 AH, regarding the exemption of a number of beneficiaries transferred from the Social Security Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/45) dated 7/7/1427 AH to the current Social Security Law.
    And after reviewing the Social Security Law (repealed), issued by Royal Decree No. (M/45) dated 7/7/1427 AH.
    And after reviewing the Social Security Law, issued by Royal Decree No. (M/32) dated 4/4/1442 AH.
    And after reviewing memoranda No. (1697) dated 6/5/1447 AH, and No. (3582) dated 21/10/1447 AH, prepared by the Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers.
    And after reviewing the recommendation prepared by the Council of Economic and Development Affairs No. (1-20/47/D) dated 17/5/1447 AH.
    And after considering the Shura Council decision No. (345/28) dated 17/11/1447 AH.
    And after reviewing the recommendation of the General Committee of the Council of Ministers No. (80) dated 3/1/1448 AH.
    Decides:

  • To exempt the following categories – beneficiaries transferred from the repealed Social Security Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/45) dated 7/7/1427 AH, to the Social Security Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/32) dated 4/4/1442 AH – from the provisions of paragraph (2) of Article (9) of the Social Security Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/32) dated 4/4/1442 AH, who are:

    • 1- Elderly persons with no income.
      2- Persons with disabilities who have no provider.
      3- Orphans with special circumstances who have no provider.
  • A draft Royal Decree has been prepared accordingly, its text is attached herewith.
