Article 1
Confidential documents shall be provided when needed in accordance with the following regulations:
A- The request for provision must be made through an official confidential letter addressed by a competent authority related to the subject of the confidential document, stating the reason for the request and signed by the authorized person.
B- It is sufficient to provide a certified copy of the confidential document only, and if it is necessary to provide the original, the reason must be stated and a copy of it must be kept in the subject file.
C- Information about the confidential document being provided must be recorded in the confidential documents registry at the government agency and in the subject file, along with retaining the related correspondence.
D- When sending the confidential document to the requesting authority, it must be placed inside a sealed preservation container before being sent.
E- The requested confidential document shall be delivered to the requesting authority based on a delivery statement that includes the number of documents, the number of each document, its date, the names of the deliverer and the recipient, their signatures, and the date and time of delivery; in case of returning the document, the return time shall be added.
F- Providing a copy of the confidential document via any electronic communication means is prohibited, and if necessary, it must be done through encrypted and secure transmission devices or through protected and secure official websites.
