• Transfer of the employees and workers of the Umm Al-Qura newspaper, numbering (108) - according to the statement attached to the server process accompanying the telegram of His Excellency the Minister of Media, number 30933, dated 26/9/1443 AH - from the Ministry of Media to the Saudi Press Agency, in accordance with the following rules and arrangements:

  • 1- The transfer shall be as follows:

    • A- Employees subject to the salary scale attached to the Civil Service Law and those subject to the salary scale attached to the users' regulations shall be placed on the salary scales of employees and users attached to the employee and user regulations in the General Organization for Social Insurance applicable at the Saudi Press Agency.

    • B- Workers subject to the salary scale attached to the regulations for those appointed on the wage item in government entities shall be placed on the salary scale attached to the regulations for workers appointed on the wage item in the General Organization for Social Insurance applicable at the Saudi Press Agency.

    • C- The employees and workers referred to in subparagraphs (A) and (B) of this paragraph shall be placed according to the controls and standards approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in coordination with the Ministry, provided that the basic salary and wage that the employee and worker will receive shall not be less than the salary and wage they were receiving before the transfer, and that the total salary and wage that the employee and worker will receive shall not be less than the salary and wage they were receiving before the transfer.

• 2- The Ministry of Media shall continue to disburse the salaries and wages of the employees and workers - referred to in paragraph (1) of this item - until the end of the month following the issuance of this decision, and the agency shall begin disbursing those salaries and wages starting from the following month.

Transfer all vacant and approved positions for the Umm Al-Qura newspaper in the organizational structures of the Ministry of Media, totaling (60) positions, to the organizational structures of the Saudi Press Agency, so that each position is transferred according to its equivalent in terms of job level in the regulations applicable in the agency.

Transfer of fixed and movable properties and assets listed in the statement attached to the process report accompanying the telegram of His Excellency the Minister of Media, appointed number 30933 dated 26/9/1443 AH, from the Ministry of Media to the Saudi Press Agency. The Saudi Press Agency shall coordinate with the State Properties General Authority to complete the legal procedures for the allocation of the lands and buildings mentioned in the statement to the agency.

The transfer of the items and programs referred to in the server process attached to the telegram of His Excellency the Minister of Media, number 30933, dated 26/9/1443 AH, and the contracts and amounts associated with them, from the budget of the Ministry of Media to the budget of the Saudi Press Agency for the current fiscal year (2022 AD).
