Having reviewed, at its session held under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the submission received from the Royal Court under No. 94718 dated 26/‏11‏/1447 AH, concerning the study on the non-applicability of the Regulations on Remuneration of Members of Boards of Directors of Government Entities and the Committees Deriving Therefrom to a number of boards of directors of government entities and the committees deriving therefrom.
Having reviewed Council of Ministers Decision No. (363) dated 7/‏8‏/1436 AH.
Having reviewed the Regulations on Remuneration of Members of Boards of Directors of Government Entities and the Committees Deriving Therefrom (previous), issued by Council of Ministers Decision No. (385) dated 11/‏7‏/1442 AH.
Having reviewed the Regulations on Remuneration of Members of Boards of Directors of Government Entities and the Committees Deriving Therefrom, approved by Council of Ministers Decision No. (135) dated 13/‏2‏/1445 AH.
Having reviewed Memoranda No. (1702) dated 6/‏5‏/1447 AH, No. (4214) dated 18/‏12‏/1447 AH, and No. (143) dated 14/‏1‏/1448 AH, prepared by the Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers.
Having reviewed the minutes prepared by the Council of Economic and Development Affairs under No. (341/‏48‏/M) dated 16/‏2‏/1448 AH.
Having reviewed the recommendation of the General Committee of the Council of Ministers No. (2537) dated 5/‏3‏/1448 AH.
Hereby decides as follows:
- First: The boards of directors (and equivalent bodies) of institutions, authorities, and government entities to which the Regulations on Remuneration of Members of Boards of Directors of Government Entities and the Committees Deriving Therefrom do not apply—issued by Council of Ministers Decision No. (135) dated 13/‏2‏/1445 AH—shall receive remuneration in the amount of (2,000) two thousand riyals for each session, up to a maximum of (30,000) thirty thousand riyals per year for each member. A non-employee attending from outside the city in which the meeting is held shall be paid (1,500) one thousand five hundred riyals and the value of a round-trip first-class airline ticket from his city to the city in which the meeting is held. Employees shall be treated in accordance with the laws and regulations applicable to them.
- Second: The provisions of item (First) of this Decision shall not apply to the boards of directors (and equivalent bodies) of the following institutions, authorities, and government entities:
  - 1‏- Those not covered by Council of Ministers Decision No. (363) dated 7/‏8‏/1436 AH.
  - 2‏- Those specifically excluded from the Regulations on Remuneration of Members of Boards of Directors of Government Entities and the Committees Deriving Therefrom (previous), approved by Council of Ministers Decision No. (385) dated 11/‏7‏/1442 AH, and the Regulations on Remuneration of Members of Boards of Directors of Government Entities and the Committees Deriving Therefrom, approved by Council of Ministers Decision No. (135) dated 13/‏2‏/1445 AH, by virtue of a specific provision.
  - 3‏- Those for which a specific provision has been issued stipulating that they are covered by the Regulations on Remuneration of Members of Boards of Directors of Government Entities and the Committees Deriving Therefrom (previous), issued by Council of Ministers Decision No. (385) dated 11/‏7‏/1442 AH, and the Regulations on Remuneration of Members of Boards of Directors of Government Entities and the Committees Deriving Therefrom, issued by Council of Ministers Decision No. (135) dated 13/‏2‏/1445 AH, or stipulating their application thereto.
