Based on Article (Eighteen) of the Shura Council Law, issued by Royal Order No. (A/91) dated 27/8/1412 AH.
After reviewing Shura Council Resolution No. (16/199) dated 17/7/1447 AH.
After reviewing Council of Ministers Resolution No. (835) dated 18/11/1447 AH.
We have decreed the following:
First: The repeal of Articles (Six) and (Seven), of the Law on Direct Disbursement of Public Funds, issued by Royal Decree No. (M/18) dated 23/2/1436 AH.
Second: Exceptionally from the provision of clause (First) of this decree, the disbursement of the Direct Disbursement Reward of Public Funds shall continue - in accordance with the provisions contained in Articles (Six) and (Seven) of the Law on Direct Disbursement of Public Funds - for employees working in entities that have not yet implemented the disbursement method via advances through bank cards, until these entities apply this method. These entities shall coordinate with the Ministry of Finance to develop a plan to implement this method and to stop disbursing the reward within a period not exceeding the end of the fiscal year (2026 AD). In all cases, the disbursement of the reward shall cease upon the expiration of the aforementioned period.
Third: It is incumbent upon His Highness the Prime Minister, the Ministers, and the heads of the concerned independent bodies - each within their jurisdiction - to implement this decree.
