1. The following regulations apply to all Saudi licensing examinations for the Practice of the Profession, promotions, the first part of the Saudi Specialty Certificate examination, and final examinations:
أ. The use of a test map prepared by the Examination Committee to ensure alignment with curricula based on CanMED or any other approved basis.
ب. All examinations are subject to a systematic preparation process to ensure their quality.
ت. Negative marking is not permitted.
ث. All result reports are subject to post-examination analysis.
2. The Authority does not recognize the results of any evaluation entities other than its own concerning the examinations.
3. The executive rules for the evaluation approved by the Education and Training Council shall be in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation.
1. Passing the Saudi License Examination for the Practice of the Profession (if applicable) entitles the practitioner to register with the authority, and the Professional Practice Council shall issue the executive regulations governing this.
2. Passing the Saudi License Examination for the Practice of the Profession (if applicable) entitles graduates of health colleges to apply for the Saudi Specialty Certificate programs along with any other admission requirements as approved by the Education and Training Council.
The purpose of the Saudi licensing examination for the Practice of the Profession is as follows:
1. To determine the competencies required to obtain a license for the Practice of the Profession after the internship year.
2. To ensure that graduates of accredited health education institutions meet the minimum standards for the Practice of the Profession.
3. To standardize the criteria for evaluating candidates applying for graduate programs.
The eligible candidates to sit for the exam are:
1. Students of health colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during their final year.
2. Those who hold a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a health college outside the Kingdom, recognized and accredited by the Ministry of Education.
The formats of the tests and the passing grade are determined in accordance with the executive regulations for the professional license examinations approved by the Professional Practice Council.
