  • After reviewing the powers of the Board of Directors of the Center stipulated in Article Ten of the Statute, issued by the Council of Ministers Decision No. 469 dated 19/8/1443 AH, and with reference to the Board of Directors’ decision of this Center No. (5/M/2025/12/8), in its (eighth) session held on 4/7/1447 AH corresponding to 24/12/2025 AD, which includes approval of the Executive Committee’s recommendation on the occasion of approving the Regulation for the Admission of Health Institutions to the Network of the National Health Insurance Center for Accredited Health Institutions.

  • Approval of the Regulation for the Admission of Health Institutions to the Network of the National Health Insurance Center for Accredited Health Institutions according to the attached form.

Chapter 1

Chapter 2: Objectives and Healthcare Procurement

Article 2: Objective of the Regulation

  • This regulation aims to define the frameworks for the affiliation of institutions and health clusters to the network of accredited health institutions, and to organize the relationship of the center with them, particularly concerning the types of accreditations granted by the center for joining the network, the conditions and requirements of the accreditations, and the handling of related appeals. This is to enable the center to manage an integrated health network based on outcomes, ensuring the qualification and empowerment of these institutions and health clusters to conclude healthcare purchase contracts with the center, in order to provide the best means of care for beneficiaries, guaranteeing the quality and efficiency of the healthcare provided, facilitating beneficiaries' access to it, improving their satisfaction level, ensuring the effectiveness and sustainability of healthcare, and the optimal use of resources, to achieve the objectives of comprehensive national health insurance.

Article 3: Scope of Application

  • Without prejudice to the provisions of the relevant laws and regulations, this regulation applies to all health institutions and health clusters that submit an application for accreditation to join the network of accredited health institutions at the center.

Article 4: Purchase of Healthcare

  • 1- The Center purchases healthcare for beneficiaries from accredited healthcare institutions, in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation, the Healthcare Coverage Regulation, the regulations and manuals issued by the Center organizing the purchase of healthcare, and the terms and conditions specified in the healthcare purchase contract.
  • 2- Without prejudice to the provisions of the relevant laws and regulations, the Center concludes healthcare purchase contracts with accredited healthcare institutions, according to the healthcare purchase contract templates approved by the Center.
