Mechanism for Amending the Status of Land Transport Establishments on Roads in accordance with the Provisions of the Land Transport Law on Roads and the Implementing Regulation for Private Car Rental Activities and Mediation in Private Car Rental through Electronic Applications

Fourth

  • It is a condition for the establishment to obtain a license to practice the activity of private car rental through electronic applications to fulfill the following requirements:

    • 2- A valid commercial registration including the activity of mediation in private car rental through electronic applications.

    • The necessary period to amend the status:

      • Licensed entities (before the regulation comes into effect): Nine months from the effective date regarding the activity title
      • Licensed entities (after the regulation comes into effect): Nine months from the effective date regarding the activity title

    • Clarifications: ---

    • Legal instrument (according to the law / according to the regulation): According to the regulation.

Thirty-third

  • The service provider shall commit to the following:

    • 5- Providing contact numbers in case of any malfunction or emergency, in addition to the necessary communication means for complaints and inquiries, with communication available 24 hours a day.

    • The necessary period to adjust the situations:

      • Licensed parties (before the regulation comes into effect): three months from the date of enforcement
      • Licensed parties (after the regulation comes into effect): three months from the date of enforcement
