The professional examination for agents is one of the requirements for obtaining a license to practice activities related to intellectual property services, based on the decision of the Board of the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property No. 2023/28/04 dated 1445/06/18, which amends Article Six of the Licensing Rules for Providing Intellectual Property Services. The examination aims to build specialized national professional capacities in the field and includes a number of knowledge, skills, practices, and real-life examples that enable them to perform professionally and competently in providing intellectual property services on behalf of others before the Authority, and to enhance their awareness of the professional responsibility that an agent must possess.
