The words and phrases contained in this Regulation shall have the meanings specified below:
(1/1) The Presidency: The General Presidency for Youth Welfare.
(1/2) The Competent Authority: The Sports Academies Administration at the Presidency.
(1/3) The Federation: The Saudi Arabian Federation for the Sport.
(1/4) The Office: The Presidency Office in the region or governorate.
(1/5) The Club: The club officially licensed by the Presidency.
(1/6) The Academy: A sports entity officially licensed by the Presidency.
(1/7) The Investor: A person or entity wishing to invest in the field of academies.
(1/8) The Academy Director: The person responsible for managing the affairs of the academy.
(1/9) The Administrative Specialist: The person contracted to work with the academy.
(1/10) The Training Grant: An agreement concluded between the academy and the students' guardians.
(1/11) The Fee-Paying Student: The student enrolled in the academy with training fees.
(1/12) The Grant Student: The student who receives a training grant from the academy.
(1/13) The Transfer: The transfer of a student from one academy to another or to a club.
The academy is a sports entity with an independent legal personality specialized in discovering, training, and refining sports talents at an early age according to the best and latest educational and training methods and means.
(1/3) Club Academy: An academy established by the club.
(2/3) Independent Investment Academy: An academy established by the private sector.
(3/3) Joint Investment Academy: An academy established by the club in collaboration with the private sector.
(1/4) The academy must have a distinctive name and logo.
(2/4) The logo of the academy shall be registered and approved as a trademark with the competent authority (Ministry of Commerce).
(1/5) Discovering talents in various sports at an early age.
(2/5) Providing care, support, and training to refine and develop talents according to modern scientific methods and standards by creating a safe educational environment that encourages students and motivates parents to enroll their children in the academy.
(3/5) Generating financial resources through membership fees, compensation for training, and any other legitimate resources.
(4/5) Promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair competition among students.
(5/5) Raising sports, health, social, and cultural awareness among the academy's members.
(1/6) Obligation to comply with the regulations, rules, and instructions issued by the Federation or the Presidency.
(2/6) The Academy shall establish internal regulations that govern its operations and programs in a manner that does not conflict with these regulations and the regulations issued by the Federation or the Presidency.
(3/6) Obligation to adhere to the training grant agreements concluded with the students' guardians.
(4/6) Obligation to comply with all terms of contracts concluded with employees in the administrative and specialist fields and other areas.
(5/6) Obligation to provide appropriate medical, nutritional, educational, and social care for students within the Academy.
(6/6) The Academy is obliged to have doctors and physical therapy specialists present during training, competitions, and matches for all Academy teams.
(7/6) The Academy shall monitor, supervise, and record the physical aspects of students in terms of growth (height, weight, and physical abilities) according to medical standards.
(8/6) Preparation of a comprehensive nutritional program for students on training days, competitions, and matches.
(9/6) Providing students' guardians with periodic reports every three months detailing the progress of their children.
(10/6) Assigning qualified teachers in certain subjects to strengthen students academically while they attend the Academy.
(11/6) Monitoring students academically by communicating with the school to know their attendance and academic performance in their schools.
(12/6) The Academy shall conduct technical assessment tests during specified periods to determine the progress achieved by students in terms of technical and skill development.
(13/6) The Academy organizes cultural, social, and recreational programs for students during their attendance at the Academy.
(14/6) The Academy submits detailed technical reports on students' performance to the club management or investor every three months.
(15/6) The Academy shall establish programs for teaching the English language or another language by assigning one or more teachers for this purpose.
(16/6) Providing transportation for students from their homes to the Academy and back.
(17/6) Securing clothing, equipment, and tools specific for training, competitions, and matches.
(18/6) The Academy shall prepare records that include data and information about students from physical, technical, and medical perspectives, which will be accessible to their guardians.
(19/6) Inviting students' guardians to attend the Academy to watch their children and learn about the programs they receive at the Academy.
