King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a decree approving the Agreement on the Prohibition of the Worst Forms of Child Labor, based on articles from the Basic Law of Governance and the Council of Ministers Law. The Agreement, which was adopted by the International Labour Conference in Geneva, defines "child" as any person under the age of eighteen and specifies "the worst forms of child labor" to include forms of slavery, trafficking of children, prostitution, and forced labor.
