Instructions for Practicing the Activity of Tourist Hospitality Facility Type (Inn) During the Hajj Season in the Cities of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah

  • The Minister of Tourism

  • Pursuant to the powers granted to him by law

  • And based on the Tourism Law, issued by Royal Decree No. (M/18) dated 26/1/1444 AH, and the Tourism Hospitality Facility Regulations, issued by Ministerial Decision No. (2289) dated 19/5/1444 AH.

  • After reviewing Ministerial Decision No. (1447/1123) dated 26/3/1447 AH, approving the exemption of applicants for licensing a tourism hospitality facility of the type (inn) to operate during the Hajj season from the standards attached to Ministerial Decision No. (2300) dated 19/5/1444 AH, and approving the instructions for practicing the activity during the season.

  • And based on what the public interest requires.

  • It is decided as follows:

    • First: Approval of the amendment of the "Instructions for Practicing the Activity of a Tourism Hospitality Facility of the Type (Inn) during the Hajj Season - approved by the competent authority - in the cities of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah" (/File/5EWdAN8a3LJ0Pv4nJMD9pz2mP), according to the attached text.

    • Second: Continuation of the exemption for the applicant for licensing to operate a tourism hospitality facility of the type (inn) during the Hajj season - which is determined annually by the competent authority - in the cities of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah from complying with the following requirements:

    • Third: The validity period of the inn license during the Hajj season in the cities of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah shall be ninety (90) days, non-renewable.

    • Fourth: This decision shall be effective from the date of its approval and published in the Official Gazette.

    • Fifth: This decision cancels all previous decisions that conflict with it, and it shall be communicated to those concerned for enforcement and implementation.

  • And Allah is the Grantor of success.

Penalties for violating the provisions of these instructions shall be applied in accordance with the schedule referred to in paragraph (5) of Article Sixteen of the Tourism Law.
